6-Day Liver Flush Protocol

The first six days are easy. Simply eat lightly, and drink a litre/32 ounces of apple juice each day to soften the gallstones. Then on the night of the sixth day, ensure that there is a person with you, simply as a caution.

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 litres of apple juice (1 litre/32 ounces per day)

  • 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate*, known also as "bittersalz") dissolved in 3 x 250 ml or 3 x 8 ounce glasses of water. (3/4 litre - or 24 ounces)

  • Half-glass extra virgin olive oil.

  • 3/4 glass of freshly squeezed citrus juice (pink grapefruit, or half lemon, half orange)

Note: use magnesium citrate if magnesium sulphate can't be purchased.

PREPARATION

FOR FIVE DAYS

  • simply eat a normal diet, but with less fatty foods. Avoid meats and dairy, and fried foods. All foods and drinks should be warm.

  • drink apple juice throughout the day, between meals, equalling one litre per day.

  • continue to drink 6-8 glasses of water as per usual requirements.

  • take a level teaspoonful of vitamin C powder ( preferably sodium ascorbate) 3 times per day to help clear the bowels.

  • avoid medications, vitamins, and supplements if possible. They put additional burden on the liver.

DAY SIX

  • drink your daily quota of apple juice in the morning.

  • BREAKFAST - eat a light breakfast -avoid sugar/sweeteners, spices, milk, butter, oils, yoghurt, cheese, ham, eggs, nuts, pastries, cold cereals, etc. Fruit and fruit juices are ok.

  • LUNCH - eat plain cooked/steamed vegetables with white rice and unrefined sea salt or rock salt. Do not eat protein, butter, or oil.

  • FROM 1.30 PM. Do not eat anything. Continue to drink water.

THE ACTUAL FLUSH

Follow the timeline exactly.

6.00 PM

  • Pour 3/4 litre (24 ounces) of water into a jug. Add 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate*, known also as "bittersalz"). Pour 1/4 into a glass and drink it. A little lemon juice may improve the taste. The Epsom salts will widen the bile ducts in the liver.

  • Set out the citrus juice that you will use later - to bring it to room temperature.

8.00 PM

  • Drink the second glass of Epsom salts.

9.30 PM

  • If you have not had a bowel movement until now, drink a rounded teaspoonful 5 grams) of vitamin C powder in a glass of water.

9.45 PM

  • Squeeze 3/4 glass of juice and remove the pulp

  • Combine freshly squeezed juice with 1/2 glass of olive oil in a jar and shake hard about 20 times or until the mixture becomes watery.

  • drink this mixture at 10.00 PM or soon after.

10.00 PM

  • Stand next to your bed (don't sit) and drink the oil/citrus juice mixture straight down. (Do not take more than 5 minutes to drink this mixture)

  • LIE DOWN IMMEDIATELY to help release the stones.

  • Turn off the light and lie down with pillows to raise your head higher than your abdomen. If uncomfortable, lie on your right side with your legs drawn up.

  • LIE PERFECTLY STILL and don't talk. Go to sleep if you can.

  • Go to the toilet as often as you need to. Don't be concerned if you feel nauseous, or vomit, because toxins released with the gallstones often have this effect.

Note: You may notice green and yellow stones floating on the surface of the toilet bowel

6.00 - 6.30 AM

  • Drink your third glass of Epsom salts (and a glass of warm water beforehand if thirsty). Do not drink the Epsom salts before 6.00 AM.

  • Rest, and read once up. Stay upright if possible, but if you feel sleepy, then Go back to sleep.

8.00 - 8.30 AM

  • Drink your last glass of Epsom salts.

10.00 - 10.30 AM

  • Drink freshly squeezed citrus juice

10.30 - 11.00 AM

  • Eat some fresh fruit.

12.00 NOON

  • Eat regular ( but light) food.

CONTINUING

  • Eat regular (light) food for 2 or 3 days.

Note: Drink water whenever you are thirsty except:

  • right after drinking the Epsom salts mixture (at 6PM, 8PM, 6AM, 8AM)

  • for 2 hours after drinking the oil mixture (at 10.00 AM)

Repeat monthly until you have two liver flushes that don't produce any stones, then repeat annually.
